Refund policy
At Orgone Effects, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Please read the following carefully to ensure you are fully aware of your rights under this policy and our obligations to you.
Cancellation Policy
Orders cannot be cancelled for change of mind once you click the “Pay Now” button on our secure order page. Once an order is placed, it is immediately processed for shipping.
This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including where goods are faulty, not as described, or otherwise fail to meet consumer guarantees.
Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds for change of mind. If you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind about your purchase, Orgone Effects will offer you an exchange or store credit provided that:
Conditions:
- Please notify our team via email within 7 days of receiving order.
- Proof of Purchase must be provided (receipt or order confirmation).
- The item must not have been used or damaged in any way.
- It is in its original packaging.
- It is unopened, unused, and in its original saleable condition for change of mind returns.
- A $10 restocking fee applies per order.
- The customer is responsible for return postage costs.
- If requesting an exchange, the customer is also responsible for postage costs of the new item.
Store credit is not redeemable for cash.
Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the new item is of higher value, you will be required to pay the difference. If it is of lower value, the difference will be issued as store credit.
If these requirements are not satisfied Orgone Effects reserves the right not to offer an exchange or credit note for change of mind returns.
Product Warranty
Our products are covered by a 3 month warranty from the date of purchase. During this period, we will offer to replace products that are found to be defective due to manufacturing faults, at our discretion.
This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from misuse, neglect, modification, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a store credit or exchange:
- Items must be returned within 14 days of receiving the order.
- Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition and packaging.
- Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) must be provided.
We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item does not meet these conditions.
Due to hygiene standards, the following items are not eligible for return under our change-of-mind policy once opened, used or worn.
- Earrings, Personal Pendants, Harmonywear Pendants and Bracelets, Ener-Bands, Orgone Blankets, Ener-Soles.
This does not apply where the product is faulty, not of acceptable quality, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.
Exclusions
The following items cannot be returned:
- Clearance or sale items
- Gift cards
- Custom or special-order products
Faulty or Damaged Items
If an item is faulty or damaged, please contact us via email within 14 days of receiving your order. Orgone Effects will assess the issue and provide a remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
Where an item is damaged through misuse or abnormal use, Orgone Effects Australia cannot provide a refund or exchange.
Note: * Due to the handmade quality of some of our products, minor variations in colour and finish may occur.
Refund Policy
Under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010), you are entitled to a refund or replacement if a product has a major failure.
We do not provide refunds for change of mind.
A major failure includes where:
- The item is defective, damaged or incorrect.
- The product is unsafe.
- It is substantially unfit for its intended purpose and cannot be easily fixed.
- It is significantly different from the description or sample shown.
If you believe your item has a major fault and you would like to request a refund, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. We may request proof of purchase, photographs, or return of the item for assessment.
Where a major failure is confirmed, you may choose a refund or replacement. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your refund will include the purchase price, any original shipping paid, and reasonable return postage costs.
If the issue does not amount to a major failure, we may choose to replace the item or issue a store credit for the same value of the product.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Customer Responsibility for Order Accuracy
Customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming that all order details are correct before finalizing their purchase. This includes selected items, quantities, sizes, billing information, and shipping address.
Orgone Effects are not liable for errors resulting from incorrect information provided at checkout. If a mistake is identified after an order has been placed, customers must contact our support team immediately.
While we will do our best to assist, changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been processed or shipped.
Approved exchanges for incorrectly ordered items may be accepted at our discretion. A $10 restocking fee will apply to all approved exchanges, and customers are responsible for the cost of return postage as well as shipping costs for the replacement item. No refunds will be accepted.
Returned to Sender / Unclaimed Parcels
If a parcel is returned to Orgone Effects due to an incorrect address or failure to collect from the postal carrier, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the order. Alternatively, a store credit for the product value may be issued once the parcel is returned to us. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
